Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : Bristol Borough man Brian Nathaniel Harris, 28, has been charged with over 160 counts, mostly felonies, after sexually assaulting three children, recording the assaults, and sharing some of the recordings on various social media platforms. The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office made the announcement during a news conference on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023.
First Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Schorn expressed the community’s worst fear of having a predator living among them. She commended the outstanding work done by law enforcement, ensuring that Harris will be held in Bucks County detention while awaiting his day in court. Schorn encouraged anyone with concerns or potential contact with Harris to reach out to Bucks County Detectives.
Law enforcement authorities believe there may be additional victims and urge anyone with information to contact Bucks County Detectives. William S. Walker, Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Philadelphia, emphasized the importance of time in child exploitation cases. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by agents, detectives, officers, and prosecutors who worked tirelessly over the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend to uncover and identify additional victims.
Harris faces charges including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of an unconscious person, indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, dissemination of child pornography, and criminal use of a communication facility.
The investigation into Harris began on Oct. 31, 2023, when the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, reporting the sharing of child pornography on Snapchat. This led authorities to Harris, resulting in his arrest on Nov. 21, 2023.
Further investigation and the serving of a search warrant for electronic devices revealed over 500 image and video files containing child sexual abuse material. The files showed Harris sexually assaulting the victims, with one of them being asleep during the assaults. Harris was wearing a distinctive black ring with the words “Yee Yee” inscribed on it, which can be seen in several of the files. The investigation also uncovered Harris’s dissemination of these files through various social media platforms using multiple online identities.
The victims, two boys and one girl, ranged in age from 2 to 12. The crimes occurred in Bucks County between September 2018 and September 2023.
The investigation was conducted by Bucks County Detectives, with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations, the Attorney General’s Office, the United States Marshal Service, Falls Township Police Department, and the Bristol Borough Police Department. Chief Deputy District Attorney Kristin M. McElroy is assigned for prosecution.
