Fadi Badran, Abdel-Fatah al-Qadoomi : Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Youth and Raid Refugee Camp in West Bank

Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : Israeli military forces have reportedly killed a Palestinian youth and injured four others during clashes near the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah. The victim, identified as 21-year-old Fadi Badran, was shot in the chest during confrontations between Palestinian people and Israeli troops near the Ofer jail in the West Bank town of Beitunia. The clashes erupted after Israeli forces started dispersing citizens who were waiting for the release of Palestinian prisoners from jail as part of the humanitarian truce deal in the Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, the clashes escalated after Israeli troops stormed nearby neighborhoods in Beitunia town. The Israeli regime’s brutal war on Gaza, which began on October 7, prompted the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm launched by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas. The operation aimed to counter the decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation carried out by the Israeli regime against Palestinians.

Fortunately, a temporary ceasefire in Gaza took effect on Friday, offering a brief respite to Palestinians in the besieged territory. The truce deal also included a prisoner swap agreement between Hamas and Israel. As part of this agreement, 50 Israeli captives were to be released in exchange for 150 Palestinian prisoners, all of whom were women and children.

In a separate development on Thursday, Israeli forces conducted a large-scale incursion into the West Bank city of Tulkarem and its refugee camp, causing significant destruction. The regime’s forces, accompanied by bulldozers, stormed several neighborhoods and deployed snipers to the rooftops of high buildings in the Tulkarem refugee camp. Bulldozers destroyed the camp’s main streets, several vehicles, and properties of residents.

Violent clashes reportedly broke out between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian youths, with the regime forces resorting to firing live bullets toward them. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Additionally, the Israeli military stationed troops near Thabet Government Hospital in Tulkarem, searching ambulances and interrogating their drivers. During the incursion, they also detained a Palestinian youth named Abdel-Fatah al-Qadoomi after storming several residents’ homes in the southern part of the city. Local sources also reported the presence of low-flying drones over Tulkarem.

These incidents serve as a stark reminder of the ongoing tensions and violence between Israelis and Palestinians. The international community continues to call for a lasting and peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which has resulted in the loss of numerous lives and the displacement of countless individuals.
