Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : Three individuals lost their lives and five others sustained injuries in a tragic accident in Anuppur district, Bhopal. The incident occurred when the vehicle they were traveling in collided with a stationary truck due to poor visibility caused by fog. The accident took place near Lamta village on the Venkatnagar-Jaithari road late on Tuesday night.

According to the Jaithari police station in-charge, Prakash Chandra Kol, the victims, who were residents of Jaithari, had gone to the market in Gaurela, Chhattisgarh. On their way back, between 9:15 and 9:30 PM, their van collided with a stationary truck near Lamta village. Unfortunately, two individuals, Praveen Mishra (45) and Mohammed Salim (50), died on the spot, while Munni Rathore (55) passed away while undergoing treatment.

The remaining five individuals who were injured in the accident are currently receiving medical attention. The police have registered a case and are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.

Sources speculate that the foggy weather conditions and low visibility may have contributed to the collision. The truck, which was en route to Jaithari, was parked on the side of the road when the accident occurred.

In recent news, another tragic accident occurred in Malkangiri district, Odisha, where five laborers lost their lives and seven others were injured as a truck overturned.
