According to the RCMP statement, a Dodge Ram truck veered off the road and collided with several small trees before striking a Volkswagen that was stopped at a red light. The impact of this collision triggered a chain reaction involving four other vehicles. The three occupants of the Volkswagen, all in their 20s, were immediately rushed to the hospital. Tragically, one of them succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead.
