Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : Abia Police Command Declares Four Siblings Missing

The Abia Police Command has raised an alarm over the mysterious disappearance of four siblings from the same family. The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maureen Chinaka, made this announcement in a statement released on Sunday in Umuahia.

The missing children have been identified as Chinweotiti Chimaobi (7) and Nmesomachi Chimaobi (7), both females, as well as Testimony Chimaobi (4) and Godswill Chimaobi (2), both males. The parents, Mr. Chimaobi Agha and his wife, Oluchi, who reside in Umuagu-Ibeku in Umuahia North Local Government Area, reported the incident to the Ohuhu Police Divisional Headquarters on November 28.

According to Chinaka, the incident occurred on November 27 when the mother placed the children in a commercial tricycle, operated by an unidentified person, to transport them to their school. The mother accompanied them to the junction of their street, where they boarded the unknown tricycle that was supposed to take them to Great Ambassadors College located nearby.

Tragically, the children did not return home as expected at the end of the school day. Concerned about their safety, the parents reported the matter to the police, who immediately launched an investigation into the whereabouts of the missing children. Further investigation revealed that the children were absent from school on the specified date, intensifying concerns about their disappearance.

The police spokesperson called on members of the public to come forward with any information that could help locate the missing children. Prompt reporting to the nearest police station was encouraged to aid in the ongoing investigation.

The sudden disappearance of the young siblings has sent shockwaves through the community, with residents expressing their sympathy and concern for the distraught parents. As the investigation continues, the police are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to find the missing children and bring them back to their worried family.
