Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : A tragic crash near Tisdale has resulted in the death of a 57-year-old man from Prince Albert, and a 36-year-old man from the Kinistin Saulteaux First Nation is now facing charges in connection with the incident. Brian McNab has been charged with one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and four counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, according to the RCMP.
The collision took place on Sunday at approximately 2 p.m. on Highway 3, just south of Tisdale. The Tisdale RCMP received a call about a two-vehicle crash and promptly responded. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered that an SUV and a car had collided at an intersection.
Tragically, the driver of the car, who was the sole occupant, was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene. The deceased has been identified as a 57-year-old man from Prince Albert. Meanwhile, four passengers in the SUV sustained serious injuries and were immediately transported to the hospital. The driver of the SUV also sustained injuries, although they were deemed to be non-life-threatening.
Following a thorough investigation, the police arrested Brian McNab, the driver of the SUV. He was subsequently charged with the aforementioned offenses and was scheduled to appear in Melfort Provincial Court on Monday.
The Tisdale RCMP is currently conducting an investigation into the crash, with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist. It is imperative that the authorities determine the cause of the accident to bring closure to the victim’s family and hold the responsible party accountable for their actions.
