Farid, Gulab, Sahbir, Talib, Gulzar, Mustak : “6 Kashmiris Killed in Shimla Road Accident: Tragic Incident Claims Lives of Laborers”

Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : Six individuals from Kashmir tragically lost their lives in a devastating road accident near Sunni in Shimla district on Monday morning, according to local authorities. The incident occurred at Kudharghat, approximately 35 kilometers from Shimla, when the driver of the ill-fated pickup truck lost control of the vehicle.

The victims, who were all working as laborers in Himachal Pradesh, hailed from Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir. They were en route to Mandi from Sunni when tragedy struck. Out of the 12 occupants in the vehicle, three died instantly at the scene, while an additional three succumbed to their injuries upon arrival at a nearby hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Farid (24), Gulab (43), Sahbir (19), Talib (23), Gulzar (30), and Mustak (30), as confirmed by Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi. Meanwhile, the injured individuals, including the driver, Ranjit, are currently receiving treatment at the Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital (IGMCH).

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the accident, and a case has been registered. The precise cause of the incident remains unknown at this time.
