The incident occurred at approximately 4:19 a.m. when Raleigh police received a distress call from an officer in need of assistance at the intersection of North Carver and Pender streets.
Responding officers swiftly arrived at the scene to find a collision involving a Raleigh police vehicle and another car. Both drivers were immediately transported to the hospital for medical attention.
