Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : A second individual has tragically lost their life following a triple shooting incident that occurred at a residence in Caledon last month. The incident took place on November 20, just before midnight, at a home located on Mayfield Road. Alongside the 57-year-old male victim from Caledon who was pronounced dead at the scene, two others were also injured and transported to the hospital for treatment.
Regrettably, one of the victims who were taken to the hospital has now been pronounced dead, according to the police. This victim has been identified as a 55-year-old woman from Caledon. However, her name is being withheld at this time. The third victim remains in critical condition and is still receiving medical care at the hospital.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have stated that there are multiple suspects believed to be involved in the shooting incident. However, these suspects have not yet been identified. One of the suspects was spotted entering a black pick-up truck that was traveling westbound on Mayfield Road. Investigators have reason to believe that the truck was subsequently involved in a vehicle fire near Olde Baseline Road and Creditview Road. To aid in their investigation, the police previously released a photograph of the vehicle and are urging anyone with footage of the truck to come forward and contact them.
Additionally, investigators are actively seeking any footage of the scene in Caledon between the hours of 11 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. They believe that this footage may provide crucial information that could help progress the ongoing investigation.
Despite the presence of multiple suspects, the police have reassured the public that there is currently no imminent threat to public safety. However, they continue to urge anyone with information or footage related to the incident to reach out to the investigators.
As the investigation remains ongoing, the police are working diligently to uncover the motives behind the shooting and to bring the responsible parties to justice.
