William Wayne Graham : “Smithville Resident Indicted in Drug-Related Death of DeKalb County Resident”

Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : Smithville resident, Scott Alan Ferrell, has been indicted by the Drug Investigation Division of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department in connection to the drug-related death of DeKalb County resident, William Wayne Graham. The indictment comes after investigations revealed that Graham’s cause of death was acute combined drug toxicity, resulting from the presence of ethanol, alprazolam, cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl in his system.

Through their investigations, authorities were able to identify Ferrell as the individual responsible for providing the cocaine that led to Graham’s fatal overdose. As a result, the DeKalb County Grand Jury returned indictments on November 27th, charging Ferrell with one count of Second Degree Murder, one count of Sale of Schedule II Narcotic, and one count of Delivery of Schedule II Narcotic.

Following the indictment, Ferrell was promptly arrested and booked into the DeKalb County Jail. To ensure his appearance in court, a bond of $500,000 was set.
