Authorities from the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Monday in Painter, Virginia. The incident tragically claimed the life of a young woman and left a man hospitalized in Norfolk.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies promptly responded to a distress call reporting gunshot victims in the 31000 Block of Keller Pond Road in Painter on December 4th around 3:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman both suffering from gunshot wounds.
Regrettably, the woman, identified as Aaliyah Antonatte Shakuria Collick, who was residing in Painter at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene. The man, whose identity has not been disclosed, was immediately transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Thankfully, he is currently in stable condition.
