Grace Jabbari, the woman who has accused actor Jonathan Majors of assault, testified in court on Tuesday, marking the second witness to take the stand in the ongoing trial. The Vulture reported that Jabbari entered the courtroom through a side door, smiling at her family, while Majors looked on as she was sworn in.
During her testimony, Jabbari described how she met Majors on the set of “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” in September 2021. She claimed that they had a whirlwind romance, with Majors professing his love for her early on in the relationship.
Jabbari accused Majors of slapping her, throwing her into a car, twisting her arm, and grabbing and injuring her hand. Prosecutors stated that she received treatment at a hospital for minor injuries to her head and neck, including a cut to her ear.
Majors has pleaded not guilty to the charges and has been supported in court by his current girlfriend, Meagan Good. Opening statements began on Monday, with prosecutors alleging a “manipulative pattern of psychological abuse” and physical abuse leading up to the alleged assault. They also focused on claims that Majors was cheating on Jabbari.
