In a shocking turn of events, a new twist has emerged in the case of the devastating road accident that claimed the lives of two businessmen on the Kundli-Manesar Highway. The police have apprehended the accused driver, identified as Ajit, a Rajasthan native. The Cyber City Gurugram was left in mourning after the tragic incident occurred on the Kundli-Manesar Expressway when the driver of a cantor (cargo vehicle) irresponsibly applied the brakes.

According to the initial information provided by Varun Dahiya, the ACP Crime, the accused driver, Ajit, is a 25-year-old resident of Rajasthan. Authorities are currently interrogating him to unravel the motives behind his sudden braking on the busy highway, which led to the fatal collision.

The incident unfolded on the Kundli-Manesar Expressway when the cantor driver abruptly applied the brakes, resulting in a collision with a BMW on the road. Unfortunately, due to this unexpected maneuver, the bike carrying Prashant Narula and Paramjit Gambhir, riders from Delhi and Gurugram respectively, collided with the cantor. Both riders sustained critical injuries in the collision.

Prompt medical assistance was provided, and the injured victims, Prashant Narula and Paramjit Gambhir, were immediately extricated from beneath the cantor and rushed to the hospital. Tragically, despite extensive medical intervention, both succumbed to their injuries during the course of treatment.

Upon receiving information about the road accident on the Kundli-Manesar Expressway, the police swiftly arrived at the scene and initiated a thorough investigation. The cantor driver has been taken into custody for questioning, and the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examination to establish the exact cause of their demise.

According to the police, the group of friends from Delhi and Gurugram had embarked on a bike ride towards the Kundli-Manesar Expressway. However, their journey took a tragic turn when the cantor driver, allegedly driving recklessly, abruptly hit the brakes, resulting in the fatal collision.

The victims, Prashant Narula and Paramjit Gambhir, hailed from different locations. Narula, a resident of North Avenue Road in Punjabi Bagh, Delhi, worked as a director in the industry. On the other hand, Gambhir resided in DLF Phase-1, Gurugram. The sorrowful incident has cast a gloomy shadow over both households.

Based on a complaint filed by a friend of the deceased, the police have registered a case against the cantor driver. The charges include sections 304-A (causing death by negligence), 279 (rash driving), and 427 (mischief causing damage) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
