Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : Hyderabad, India – In a tragic incident caused by the severe cyclonic storm Michaung, a couple lost their lives in Telangana’s Khammam district on Wednesday. The state has been grappling with heavy rainfall as a result of the storm, which made landfall in neighboring Andhra Pradesh the previous day.

The unfortunate incident occurred in Cheruvu Madaram village, located in the Nelakondapalli mandal of Khammam district. The incessant rain since Tuesday resulted in the collapse of a house wall, claiming the lives of Pullaiah (45) and Lakhsmi (38).

Farmers have suffered significant losses due to the destruction of crops that were ready for harvest. Paddy, cotton, maize, and chili crops have been severely damaged in several mandals, including Khammam, Wyra, Aswaraopet, Yellandu, Pinapaka, and Palair. As a result, affected farmers are urging the government to provide compensation to alleviate their financial burdens.
