The assailants, who remain unidentified, opened fire on Gogamedi from close range, leading to his immediate demise. The tragic incident unfolded when three men barged into Gogamedi’s home, while one of them was fatally shot by the security guard in retaliatory firing. However, the other two assailants managed to escape, leaving the police on a frantic search to bring them to justice.

Following the shooting, Gogamedi was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, the medical professionals pronounced him dead on arrival. Ajit Singh, Gogamedi’s loyal security guard, who bravely neutralized one of the attackers, also sustained severe injuries during the assault.

As the investigation unfolds, Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph has identified the slain assailant as Naveen Singh Shaktawat. Sources reveal that Naveen was known to Gogamedi and had facilitated the entry of the other two assailants into his residence. The entire incident was captured on CCTV, providing crucial evidence for the ongoing investigation. Additionally, police sources have revealed that one of the fugitives has been identified as a member of a criminal gang from Haryana.

In a shocking twist, gangster Rohit Godara, believed to be residing in Canada and known for his links with notorious gangs led by Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi, has claimed responsibility for the murder through a Facebook post. This revelation has raised further questions about the motive behind Gogamedi’s assassination.

It is worth noting that Gogamedi had previously attempted to contest the 2018 Rajasthan elections as a candidate for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). However, the party denied him a ticket, leading to much discontent within the right-wing group. As the investigation progresses, authorities are determined to apprehend the remaining culprits and ensure justice for Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi’s untimely demise.
