Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : Rajasthan Police Makes Breakthrough in Murder Case of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena Chief

In a significant development, the Rajasthan police have made a major breakthrough in the murder case of the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. The two shooters involved in the killing have been identified as Rohit Rathore, a resident of Rajasthan’s Nagaur, and Nitin Fouji from Haryana’s Mahendragarh, according to ANI sources. The third criminal was killed during the exchange of fire that took place during the murder.

The identification of the accused comes just hours after Director General of Police Umesh Mishra formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the killing of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. Additional Director General (Crime) Dinesh MN is heading the SIT, and a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh has been announced for any information leading to the arrest of the two accused.

The Rajasthan Police have also conducted searches to apprehend the two accused who allegedly killed Gogamedi. The murder is believed to be related to the gangster Rohit Godara, who is said to have connections with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Godara has claimed responsibility for the murder in a Facebook post.

Gogamedi was shot dead in the living room of his residence on Tuesday, triggering unrest in the state. Markets in Jaipur, Bundi, Ajmer, Sawai Madhopur, Chittorgarh, and other districts remained closed. A mass rally was held in Udaipur, and a demonstration took place at the collectorate circle, with a heavy police presence.

Supporters of Gogamedi had called for a Jaipur bandh and gathered in the Khatipura area before spreading to other parts of the city, urging shopkeepers to shut down their establishments. The police had to resort to lathi-charge to disperse the protesters. As a result, public transport in the capital city was disrupted, and the services of roadway buses were also affected.

The Rajasthan police’s swift action in identifying the shooters brings hope for justice in the murder case. The SIT will continue to investigate the incident and work towards arresting the accused. The state remains on high alert to prevent any further escalation of violence or unrest.
