Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : One person has tragically lost their life and three others have been injured after a wall at Nguyễn Huệ Elementary School in Quang Trung Ward, Hà Giang City, collapsed during repairs. The incident occurred on the evening of December 5, with representatives from the Quang Trung Ward People’s Committee in Hà Giang City reporting that it happened around 5.30pm.
A group of four workers were carrying out repairs on a boundary wall when it suddenly gave way, causing injuries to all four individuals. Unfortunately, one of the workers, identified as T. V. B., born in 1983 and residing in Vị Xuyên district, Hà Giang, sustained severe injuries and later passed away at Hà Giang Provincial General Hospital.
The three injured workers have been identified as Thèn Văn Điệp from Xin Mần district, and Lù Đình Tân and Trương Văn Trực from Vi Xuyen district. They were promptly assisted and transported for emergency medical treatment at the Hà Giang Provincial General Hospital.
Eyewitnesses at the scene have reported that the collapsed wall measured nearly 32 meters in length and stood over two meters tall, indicating the scale of the incident. City authorities are currently investigating the cause of the collapse and working to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
