Canton Police Involved in Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting
Late Tuesday evening, an officer-involved shooting occurred in Canton, Ohio, involving the local police department. Responding to a distress call reporting an armed man, officers hurried to an apartment complex on Alan Page Drive around 10 p.m.
Canton Police Chief John Gabbard confirmed that the responding officer immediately confronted the suspect, later identified as 24-year-old Zachary Fornash from Minerva. The situation quickly escalated, leading to gunfire.
