Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : YUMA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — A suspect has been apprehended in connection with a tragic incident that occurred last year in Yuma, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. Ivan Humberto Osuna, a 41-year-old resident of San Luis, has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder.

This horrifying triple murder unfolded in a matter of minutes on the afternoon of Thursday, September 22, 2022. At approximately 4:30 p.m., Yuma County sheriff’s deputies swiftly responded to distress calls regarding two individuals found lifeless on the side of the road near the intersection of County 13th Street and Avenue F. The victims were later identified as 28-year-old Kristin Carrillo and 31-year-old Daniel Herrera, both hailing from San Luis, Arizona.

Within a span of fewer than 10 minutes, deputies were once again summoned, this time to the vicinity of 8th Street and Mojave Lane, located approximately seven miles away. They had received reports of yet another shooting. Tragically, 45-year-old Juan Luna-Montijo from Yuma had sustained a gunshot wound and succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to the hospital.
