Noe Cruz, the alleged perpetrator, has been charged with murder in the death of Yeison Gustavo-Tecun.

According to TPD officials, the incident unfolded on Sunday morning at approximately 7:00 a.m. when authorities received a distress call regarding a man found injured near the intersection of 21st and Garnett. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the victim had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and had tragically succumbed to his injuries.

Court documents reveal that the deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Yeison Gustavo Tacun. During their investigation, police interviewed three witnesses who disclosed that they had been in the company of Tacun at the Imperio Night Club, situated near 21st and 145th. The witnesses recounted a verbal altercation between Tacun and three Hispanic males at the establishment, which was promptly diffused by the security personnel.

After the club closed, Tacun and the witnesses proceeded to a nearby taco truck located at 21st and Garnett. It was there that they chanced upon one of the individuals involved in the earlier altercation engaged in a physical altercation with another unknown Hispanic male within the parking lot. Shockingly, the witnesses claimed that the two remaining Hispanic males from the original confrontation suddenly appeared, brandishing firearms, and unleashed a hail of bullets.

Identified as Dominic “Rockie” Torres, Leonel Fabian Herrera, and Noe Alberto Cruz, the three suspected individuals have been implicated in the incident. Witnesses have specifically identified Cruz as the shooter, leading to his first-degree murder charge.
