Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : Four individuals tragically lost their lives in a devastating road accident that occurred in Greater Noida on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred when the driver of a Uttar Pradesh State Road Corporation’s (UPSRTC) bus reportedly fell unconscious, leading to a collision with three motorcycles. Miraculously, no passengers on the bus sustained any injuries.
The accident took place in the Dankaur area as the UPSRTC bus was en route to Bulandshahr from Dankaur. According to ADCP (Greater Noida) Ashok Kumar, the driver, identified as Devendra, allegedly experienced a sudden medical episode and lost consciousness while approaching the main road from Mandi Shyam Nagar Bridge around 1 pm.
Tragically, the deceased have been identified as Sunil, aged 30 and hailing from Dhamni village in Bulandshahr, Karan, aged 22 and a resident of Sikandarabad, Madan, aged 26 from Hathras, and Kamlesh, aged 35 from Mirzapur. Their bodies have since been sent for post-mortem examinations.
Authorities revealed that the bus initially collided with a bike, an Apache, resulting in the immediate demise of the rider, Karan. The bus then continued its rampage, striking another motorcycle and its rider, Sunil, who also lost his life on the spot. As the bus descended from the overbridge, it collided with a third bike, occupied by brothers-in-law Madan and Kamlesh. Sadly, Madan passed away, while Kamlesh sustained severe injuries.
The chaos on the road intensified as the out-of-control bus subsequently crashed into an unoccupied car. Finally, it collided with an unoccupied tractor, finally coming to a halt.
Kamlesh, the injured individual, was immediately rushed to NIMS hospital in critical condition. However, he succumbed to his injuries there. While the driver’s condition is stable, it remains unclear how he lost consciousness, prompting investigators to launch a thorough inquiry into the matter.
This tragic incident serves as a grim reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for vigilance while driving. The families of the deceased are left to mourn their untimely loss, while the injured victim fights for his life. As the investigation unfolds, authorities hope to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the driver’s sudden loss of consciousness and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
