The police have classified the incident as a murder-suicide and have released the names of the victims who lost their lives as a result. The victims include two teenage girls and one adult woman.

The tragic incident occurred on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at two separate locations. Autopsies of the bodies are scheduled for December 18, 2023. The police have confirmed that Cobren died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

According to investigators, the chain of events began when they responded to a shooting at a house in Springfield. Upon arrival, they found 19-year-old Autumn Bell with a gunshot wound to the stomach. Unfortunately, Autumn did not survive her injuries. Another man was also found at the scene with life-threatening injuries.

Shortly after, the police received reports of another shooting nearby. They discovered the bodies of 16-year-old Alaria Bell and 53-year-old Christina Bell. The unidentified man at the first scene reportedly identified Ronald Cobren as the perpetrator. Authorities have not disclosed the specific evidence that led them to identify Cobren as the main suspect. However, they did locate his vehicle and initiated a traffic stop, only to find him dead inside the car with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
