Gregg C. Seaman Courtney Koranda Seaman : “San Diego Couple Killed in Small Plane Crash in Texas Linked to Local Luxury Apartments”

Death – Obituary – Accident and Crime News : A tragic plane crash in West Texas has claimed the lives of a San Diego couple, identified as Gregg C. Seaman, 65, and Courtney Koranda Seaman, 48. The couple were real estate professionals associated with a company that had ties to two luxury apartment complexes in Jacksonville. The crash occurred when their single-engine 1997 Pilatus PC-12 airplane went down shortly after takeoff from Jacksonville Executive at Craig Airport.

According to Sgt. Justin Baker of the Texas Department of Public Safety, the plane crashed on a ranch near Christoval, south of San Angelo. The National Transportation Safety Board is currently investigating the incident.

Gregg Seaman was the president and CEO of Viewpoint Equities Inc., a San Diego-based company specializing in commercial and residential investment properties. His wife, Courtney Seaman, was a real estate agent with Compass, handling upscale residential properties. Both were experienced pilots, as evidenced by their public social media pages.

It is unclear why the couple had been in Jacksonville, but records show that Viewpoint Equities Inc. is affiliated with two luxury apartment complexes in the city. Gregg Seaman is listed as the manager for Harbortown Jax LLC and SUR Jax LLC, which own The Views at Harbortown and SUR Southside Quarter Apartments, respectively.

Flight records indicate that the couple’s plane had been frequently flying between San Diego and various locations, including Oregon, Idaho, Arizona, Wyoming, and Florida. On the day of the crash, the pilot had indicated to air traffic control that there was a problem with the plane.

The cause of the crash is still unknown and is under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board. This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the risks associated with aviation and the importance of thorough investigations to determine the cause of such accidents.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to the Seaman family and their loved ones during this difficult time.
